Information Android devices

Most Android displays are equipped with Rockchip processors and are always flashed in a similar way. A distinction is made here between so-called OTA updates and image files. With OTA updates, the USER files and APPS are retained. When flashing an .img file, everything is deleted. For the most part, only the .img files are available. We have integrated a new OTA server in our PrimeOne series. This can be installed with the latest firmware update and the updates are then sent directly to the tablet. The user data is retained.

The PD date or production date of the device is always important for selecting the correct firmware. This can be found without exception on the ALLNET label of the device in the bottom right-hand corner, e.g. PD 10/2024. The device was manufactured in October 2024. The article number is also required. This can be found in the top right-hand corner, e.g. Art. A236111.
