5- and 8-inch Flush-Mount

The 5-inch flush-mounted displays with part number 208834 are manufactured in Europe for 68mm round flush-mounted boxes. The tablets are screwed onto the flush-mounted box using a metal frame, and the display is then snapped onto two metal tabs and pulled down. A screw prevents theft. This display ships with Android 11. An update to Android 13 is available.

The display also features an RS485 interface. This can be integrated into your own software via an APK.

Instructions for flashing:

1. Install the "Release_DriverAssitant" driver.
2. Launch the Android tool
3. Connect the USB-C port to the PC and the tablet, and plug in the power adapter
4. You should now see an ADB device in the Android Tool; if not, you'll need to enable USB debugging under Settings/Connected Devices. Or you can use a paper clip to press the switch (small hole) next to the USB port while simultaneously connecting power. The device will then start up directly in loader mode.
5. Click the "Firmware" button under the "Upgrade Firmware" tab and select the Linux/Android image.
6. Then press the "Switch" button when you see an ADB device. If you see "Loader Device," you don't need to do that. (If you're switching from Android to Linux or if you plan to do the opposite, press "Erase flash." A Maskrom Device will appear after the erasure is complete.)
7. The tablet should now turn off the screen, and the Android Tool should show "Loader Device" (Maskrom Device).
8. Press the "Upgrade" button. The firmware should now be saved to the flash memory.
9. The device will restart automatically after the update is complete.
